¶ Google Code Feedback
Some observations after attempting to use Google Code's bugtracker for reporting bugs in
free software projects, from the perspective of a seasoned Trac and Bugzilla user.
- There is currently no way to see how your bug report will appear to the world. This makes it harder to write good bug reports.
¶ Summary editing
- If I report a bug with "componentfoo is broken", and find a similar error in componentbar a few minutes later, I would like to update the bug summary to better describe the bug.
- example: detail?id=8792
- Type, Pri, OS, Area all are set for me as a reporter. It appears that members of the project can re-target this metadata, but allowing the user to being the triage process is beneficial.
¶ Wiki syntax for bug reports
- Being able to indicate
