Netgear DG834G

The DG834G is my old ADSL modem, with 802.11b/g and a 4 ethernet port router. The stock frimware is Linux based, and I'm able to get a telnet console on it without modification. It also has settings for manually assigning IPs, disabling the dhcp server, setting dhcp leases based on MAC adddress, and a dyndns client. It has all the functionality I need, but I'd still like to look into putting my own firmware on it.

It contains Texas Instruments AR7 family chipset which is supported by both Linux 2.4 and 2.6. The OpenWRT website has more information.

I believe my unit is the DG834G V2.
