I currently live in Adelaide, Australia. I attend the University of Adelaide, where I study part time for my Bachelor of Electrical and Electronic Engineering. The other half of my week is spent at ASTC, where I write C++, C and Python as I work on simulators for embedded platforms.
I enjoy embedded hardware, from both a low-level software and hardware perspective. I poke about with the Linux kernel, running the release candidates, reading about the OMAP (ARM-based platform by TI) and wireless development.
I get my higher level software fix by contributing to Chromium, the open source web browser started by Google and now run as an open source project. I also continue to beta test OneLaptopPerChild hardware, following my work as an intern for the company.
